Triton Approved Contractor status

Only Triton Approved Contractors may apply for TUG insurance backed guarantees. Before qualifying for this status, inspections are carried out by both Triton and TUG to ensure contractors meet the required high standards of both business practice and workmanship. The vetting process covers surveying techniques, operating codes of practice, back up services and reports on completed works and work in progress. Re-examination and spot checks are made on contractors’ work to ensure these high standards are maintained and that each TUG back-up guarantee will be covering reliable, sound workmanship. Triton Approved Contractor status is reviewed annually.

A further benefit for Triton Approved Contractors is the support of Triton’s technical and quality control teams.

Fully Certified

All Triton Approved Contractors are issued with a Triton Approved Contractor certificate once membership is approved and after each annual review.

Fees

No fee is payable on application however you will be invoiced for renewal of membership on 30th November each year following approval of your Triton Approved Contractor status. You may apply for approved contractor status in one or more of the following sections:

Remedial Chemical Treatments (including damproofing, replastering,timber treatment, masonry sterilization):	£45.00 p.a.
Replacement Cavity Wall Ties:	£45.00 p.a.
Waterproofing with Platon membranes (above and below ground):	£45.00 p.a.

Please note that there is a discounted rate for contractors applying for approved contractor status in more than one of these sections as follows: One section – £45.00. Two sections – £85.00. Three sections – £120.00.
